Presentation Indian Head IXL Dagger by G Wostenholm

Presentation IXL Dagger by G Wostenholm.  5 3/4 inch blade engraved "C Price, Kington 1867".  Also marked G Wostenholm, Washington Works, Sheffield and IXL on the reverse.  Cast bronze hilt depicting an American Indian holding a bow and a knife, called "Last of the Mohicans" by Wostenholm.  Cast brass scabbard decorated with an eagle, two men in combat, animals and grotesque heads.  Crossguard finials are are animal heads.  Overall length 10 inches, 11 inches including scabbard.  Blade has original polish with considerable spotting.  60% of original silver plate remaining on hilt and scabbard.
